Description
The Social Work Supervisor III will supervise a sub-unit or team of social workers providing direct services to children and families, including foster care and adoption services. The role oversees case consultation, workflow coordination, case reviews, staffing, risk assessments, family and individual case plans, court reviews, and agency foster care reviews. The supervisor will also provide guidance during non-agency hours when needed and consult horizontally within the Children Services unit. Qualifications include a master's degree in social work with two years of directly related experience, or a bachelor's degree in social work with three years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; child welfare experience or training is preferred.
