Description
The Social Worker provides clinical intervention and culturally competent services to Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing adults with serious and persistent mental illness in a residential program. Responsibilities include caseload management, intake and risk assessments, service planning, individual and family counseling, referrals, advocacy, safety planning, documentation, case conferences, and coordination with medical, psychiatric, and psychology staff. The role requires fluency in American Sign Language, a minimum of one year of human services experience, and familiarity with Windows and electronic health records; a Master’s degree in Social Work or LMSW/LCSW certification is preferred.
