Description
The Rostock District is hiring a social worker for an indefinite-term position in its Office for Child and Youth Welfare. The role supports children, adolescents, young adults, and families in challenging situations, provides assistance for upbringing and other child-rearing measures, manages emergency care, advises in family court proceedings, handles legal entitlements, moderates care-planning processes, and coordinates with youth-welfare providers. The position can be filled part-time or full-time for 35 to 39 hours per week and requires a recognized social-education or social-work qualification, knowledge of SGB VIII and family law, negotiation and social competence, a driver’s license, and agreement to emergency on-call duty.
