Sheppard Pratt is opening a new General Adult Unit and is hiring a Social Worker to provide clinical social work services supporting the patient's primary therapist and treatment team. The role includes interviewing patients and families, assessing psychosocial problems, developing and monitoring treatment plans, conducting individual, family, and group therapy, participating in the treatment team, and developing discharge and aftercare plans. The position requires a master's degree in Social Work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited school, a current Maryland State Social Work or Counseling license, and at least two years of experience in a hospital or similar clinical setting.
