Description
The Emergency Duty Social Worker provides intensive protective social work services in Child Protective Services, In-Home Services, or Permanency Planning units, including family assessments, investigations of alleged neglect or abuse, fitness-for-permanency investigations, treatment planning, home visits, referrals, and coordination with schools, families, and community resources. The role works on an alternating weekly schedule with extended evening and weekend hours and on-call availability, and requires a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, two years of protective-services social work experience or equivalent education and experience, and a valid driver's license.
