Mittelhof e.V. is hiring a Social Worker / Social Educator for the SPI Project’s “Youth Social Work at Berlin Schools” initiative at Schadow Gymnasium. The role starts on 01.10.2026, works 19.7 hours per week in a school-office model, and is permanent. Responsibilities include advising and supporting children and adolescents, coordinating with school leadership and teachers, working with parents, identifying leisure opportunities, organizing preventive social-learning projects, and cooperating with the Youth Welfare Office and other specialist services. Applicants need a recognized Social Work degree or equivalent qualification, practical school social work or after-school program experience, independent working ability, strong communication, an empathetic needs-based approach, and intercultural competence.
