Description
The Socio-therapist provides one-to-one behavioral and social-emotional services to children in foster care, develops and monitors individualized behavior plans, assesses safety and risk, supports families and foster parents, coordinates referrals and interdisciplinary services, and responds to crises. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, background clearances, communication and computer skills, a valid New York State driver’s license, and willingness to work extended or irregular hours and travel between agency sites.
