Description
Montana State University is seeking non-tenure-track Sociology and Anthropology instructors to teach upper- and lower-division undergraduate courses in sociology, criminology, or anthropology. The positions are part-time, contract-based, and may be assigned for a few weeks, a semester, or an academic year depending on departmental needs. Applicants must have a relevant degree and experience in Sociology, Anthropology, or related fields, along with face-to-face lecture experience and experience teaching large introductory sections; a PhD, evidence of teaching excellence, and experience teaching in both face-to-face and online formats are preferred. Applications are accepted on a continual basis and maintained in a hiring pool for up to two years.
