Description
Ford Motor Credit Company is hiring an AI Engineer to build and operate production AI capabilities for its Pinnacle Loan Originations platform. The role covers diagnosing and fixing issues across COBOL, DB2, CICS, Java/Spring, and GCP Cloud Run systems; designing MCP tool integrations; building Google ADK multi-agent workflows; creating auditable knowledge-graph and retrieval systems; developing deterministic Java/Kotlin backend services; and establishing evaluations, testing, and observability for AI tools. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, at least seven years of production backend engineering experience, five years with Python and Java, and experience with AI agents, MCP, vector and hybrid retrieval, and Google Cloud. Compensation ranges from $68,300 to $192,900 depending on salary grade, and visa sponsorship is not available.
