Description
Apple is hiring a Software Application Support Engineer for its Employee Systems team within the G&A Solutions Engineering organization. The role supports and engineers enterprise software applications, collaborates with development engineers on architecture and complex feature or fix implementation, and improves application performance, availability, scalability, and monitoring. It is a hands-on support and coding role requiring coordination with a global team, with responsibilities spanning incident management, configuration and change management, database performance optimization, and RESTful web services. The posting requires at least four years of experience supporting mission-critical production applications in an enterprise environment and three years of software development experience building highly scalable RESTful web services, or a combination of both, with Java, J2EE, Oracle, MongoDB, SQL, and debugging experience emphasized.
