Shield AI is hiring a Software Applications Engineer to support customers during the implementation and use of its enterprise AI and autonomy software. The role involves developing and deploying Hivemind applications for unmanned platforms, integrating autonomy systems, debugging software and API issues, training customers, maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with product and engineering teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, at least seven years of industry experience, three years in integration or applications engineering, and three years in a startup environment, along with strong C++ and Python skills. Approximately 30% travel to customer sites is required.
