Description
Papaya Global is hiring a Software Architect for its central Architects Team to partner with R&D, Product, Security, and DevOps teams across payments, payroll, workforce management, platform, data, and security domains. The role leads scalable, secure, compliant architecture; builds proofs of concept; evaluates vendors and integrations; introduces AI-powered engineering practices; and mentors development teams. It requires 8+ years of system or software architecture experience, 12+ years of hands-on software development, enterprise SaaS and highly scaled production experience, a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and deep expertise in cloud-native, microservices, event-driven, containerized, database, API, CI/CD, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
