Description
The Software Architect – Surgical Planning Platform will define the technology roadmap and architectural strategy for clinical and surgical software products across the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative ecosystem. The role owns scalable architecture across desktop, cloud, APIs, data, and distributed systems; leads migration to modern cloud, microservices, container, and DevOps architectures; embeds medical-device safety, cybersecurity, and regulatory standards; guides medical imaging and surgical-planning workflows; and provides technical leadership to architects, engineers, and product stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, 12+ years of software development experience including 5+ years in architecture or technical leadership, and expertise in C++, Qt/QML, OpenGL, VTK, ITK, Azure or AWS, microservices, Kubernetes, and medical-device development standards.
