Applied Materials is hiring a Service Robotics Software Platform Architect to provide software architecture direction and people leadership for globally deployed service cobots. The role defines the technical roadmap, architecture, interfaces, governance, release and lifecycle practices, cybersecurity, and operating model for robotics software platforms, while leading a lean software team and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. It requires 10+ years of relevant software engineering, architecture, product development, or robotics/automation experience, a master's degree or higher in a related technical discipline, and expertise in robotics software stacks, embedded systems, AI, and product lifecycle management.
