Shield AI is hiring a Software Autonomy Engineer to create and maintain control and autonomy algorithms in the VBAT code base. The role covers algorithm development, software design and coding, unit and component testing, flight software qualification, flight test support, and simulation-model updates. Candidates need substantial experience with control systems, unmanned aerial systems or robotics, and related software development; C++ and Python, continuous integration, test-driven development, and controls analysis are preferred. The position offers a full-time regular employee package with pay, bonus, benefits, and equity, or a temporary employee package.
