Description
Mid-Continent Instruments and Avionics is hiring a Software Certification Engineer to evaluate and test avionics, power electronics, and battery systems; implement RTCA DO-178C and DO-254 safety-critical software processes; verify microcontroller and FPGA designs; and support embedded software, PC applications, hardware debugging, and regulatory compliance testing. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related field, at least one year of RTCA DO-178C or similar experience, C programming proficiency, and familiarity with target hardware and Microsoft Office. Preferred qualifications include C#, Python, VHDL, DO-254, and formal coding standards.
