Amazon CloudFront is hiring an experienced Software Development Engineer for its Routing Dataplane team in Dublin, Ireland. The role focuses on building and optimizing high-performance, globally distributed networking systems, including layer 4 packet processing, TCP/IP enhancements, DDoS detection and mitigation, Anycast routing, and dataplane service operations. Responsibilities include designing scalable systems, analyzing network telemetry, improving throughput and latency, and responding to incidents. The position requires professional software development experience, system design or architecture experience, and programming experience with at least one software language.
