Amazon Retail LLC is hiring a Software Dev Engineer II in New York, New York. The role designs, develops, tests, documents, and maintains embedded or distributed software applications and services; translates functional requirements into scalable solutions; evaluates software tools; and mentors junior development engineers. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, one year of experience in the offered or related occupation, and one year of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl and Object Oriented Design. The position offers 40 hours per week, an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule, and a salary range of $158,100 to $213,800 per year.
