Description
The Content Platform team is hiring a Software Development Engineer to provide first-level support and development for production merchandising software applications. The role involves developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting and debugging internally developed code in Perl, C/C++, and Java, performing SQL queries, improving feature-metrics systems, resolving technical challenges, collaborating on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, automating support processes, and documenting systems. The ideal candidate has a Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience, with Perl, C/C++, Java, Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, and UNIX/Linux skills preferred.
