Stanford University’s Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a Software Developer/Engineer to support an interdisciplinary Neuro-AI project that builds a brain foundation model. The role develops and scales software systems, maintains production-grade codebases, implements CI/CD, troubleshoots technical problems, and supports scientists in data manipulation, reporting, analysis, training, and software documentation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, along with Python, version control, CI/CD, testing, containerization, scientific software, and machine-learning framework experience.
