Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is hiring an AI Agent Engineer in Austin, Texas, to research, design, implement, and manage software programs, including autonomous workflows and Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems. The role requires four years of AI/ML engineering or advanced data science experience, production-grade autonomous agent development, context engineering, LangChain or related frameworks, RAG architectures, Python, LLM API integration, AI governance, Model Context Protocol, guardrails, and data privacy. The position is three days remote with two onsite days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, limited to candidates within a 50-mile radius of Austin, and requires three professional references.
