Municon West Coast is hiring a full-time, in-office Software Developer for its Vancouver-based team to build, improve, and scale in-house data systems supporting real-world monitoring and infrastructure projects. The role uses Node.js, Express, React, Redux Toolkit, TypeScript, JavaScript, Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, PM2, and scalable application design patterns. Candidates should have a degree in software engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field, relevant professional software development experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, domain-driven design, caching, thread safety, SQL, databases, and Azure. Docker, container orchestration, and production application health monitoring are assets. The salary is $80,000-$130,000, with local candidates considered.
