Description
KMS Solutions is hiring a full-time Software Developer to support the Marine Species Modeling Team at NUWC Division Newport. The role translates mathematical and statistical algorithms from MATLAB into production-ready Java code, develops and maintains NAEMO and other modeling software, and collaborates with modelers, engineers, and analysts on acoustic modeling, signal processing, and system sustainment. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, 2–5 years of professional software development experience, Java proficiency, and the ability to obtain or maintain a Secret DoD clearance. It is primarily on-site at NUWC Division Newport, with up to 40% telework possible after six months and potential CONUS and OCONUS travel.
