Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is hiring a Software Developer for its Computing Directorate, matrixed to the Security & Protection Program, which develops and maintains the Argus security system and related physical security hardware and software. The role involves software engineering, requirements analysis, design, implementation, debugging, testing, optimization, and complex problem solving, with an SES.3 or SES.4 level assignment. It requires an active DOE Q-level or Top Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience, and advanced object-oriented programming and software development experience. The position offers a hybrid schedule with up to two days per week from home, is a flexible term appointment of up to six years, and pays $175,530–$267,060 annually.
