Description
NorthStar Earth & Space is hiring intermediate and senior software developers for its Image Processing and Orbit Determination teams. The role involves designing, implementing, testing, and deploying processing pipelines and software; applying distributed cloud and big-data technologies; deploying automated workflows; participating in technical reviews; documenting software; and contributing to product roadmaps. Candidates need at least five years of software engineering experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, experience with Go, Java, or Python, distributed systems, Kubernetes, CI/CD, databases, Temporal, and high-volume data tools. The position is permanent, full-time, hybrid, and based in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, with medical and dental coverage from Day 1.
