Wabtec is hiring a Software Engineer to design and oversee the implementation of cloud-based websites incorporating AI for transit-monitoring products. The role includes software design, defect debugging, documentation, sprint planning, backlog grooming, cybersecurity planning, customer releases, and collaboration with product management. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree, at least five years of cloud and systems-engineering experience, hands-on AI and large-language-model application experience, proficiency with C/C++, C#, and Python, cloud and database expertise, and experience with legacy modernization and Agile development. The position requires legal authorization to work in Canada, international travel to the United States, and the ability to work in an electronics lab environment.
