Intermedia is hiring a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services for its cloud-hosted PBX platform. The role involves architecture decisions, performance optimization, production debugging, test strategy collaboration, and code quality through reviews and mentoring. It is primarily remote with occasional visits to the Bristol office or London and requires at least two years of backend-focused software development experience, Python, Linux, API and database skills, and experience with high-load systems and CI/CD.
