Apera AI is hiring a Software Developer (Co-op) for an eight-month term from January 2027 to August 2027 to develop real-time machine vision applications for robotic systems. The role is based in person at the Vancouver office and involves building C++ features, supporting image processing and robotic integration, testing in simulated and physical lab environments, improving code quality, and contributing to automated testing infrastructure. Candidates need strong C++, object-oriented design, memory management, linear algebra, vectors, 3D transforms, and version control; Linux, computer vision libraries, multithreading, networking, and Python are bonus qualifications. Compensation is CAD $3,600 to $4,500 per month.
