Amazon is hiring a Software Developer Engineer focused on Agentic AI in Brazil to build capabilities that enable AI agents to reliably act on real operator workflows. The role combines product ownership and software development, including scoping workflows, designing agent mechanisms, building prototypes, instrumenting metrics, iterating in production, and monitoring accuracy, latency, cost, and trust. Responsibilities include reviewing agent runs, triaging operator corrections, translating implicit operator rules into agent mechanisms, closing the feedback gap, owning the roadmap, and partnering with operations leaders. Basic qualifications include professional software development experience, experience with system architecture and design, and experience programming with at least one software language; full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
