The Software Development Engineer will design, develop, and operate massively scalable distributed infrastructure supporting Amazon WorkSpaces Core and next-generation intelligent agentic AI systems and virtual desktop experiences. The role spans end-user experiences, platform services, provisioning, management, and performance at scale, and requires experience with distributed systems, large-scale software development, object-oriented design, and at least one programming language. The position is based in Sunnyvale, California, or Seattle, Washington, with annual base salaries of $165,200–$223,600 USD in Sunnyvale and $143,700–$194,400 USD in Seattle.
