FERCHAU Rosenheim is hiring a Software Developer for Functional Safety to develop and extend safety-related functions for drives under real-time conditions. The role covers requirements analysis, C programming, software design, integration, verification, validation, certification, fault analysis, simulation, technical documentation, safety analyses, and customer-site or remote commissioning and troubleshooting. Candidates need a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable STEM field, C programming on Linux or RTOS, functional safety standards knowledge, and technical English proficiency; experience with safety engineering, Git, CMake, model-based development, control algorithms, or electrical machines is advantageous.
