The employer is hiring a hybrid Software Developer for its HOST architecture and KV benefits service. The role manages test software systems, maintains and develops HOST applications, designs and optimizes mainframe interfaces and data structures, coordinates releases between Java systems and the HOST database landscape, and ensures compliance with data protection and security requirements. The position requires a degree in informatics or comparable qualification, mainframe COBOL and DB2 HOST experience, Java backend development skills, DevOps and container knowledge, strong organization, communication, and fluent German. The usual work locations are Hamburg or Dortmund.
