Description
AccuWeather is hiring two Software Developer roles to build and maintain backend systems that ingest, validate, transform, and distribute real-time weather data. The Software Developer III leads complex backend processors, data flows, database schemas, reliability standards, incident response, and technical guidance, while the Software Developer II designs and develops backend services and processing workflows. Both roles require a relevant bachelor's or master's degree, backend or distributed-systems experience, Scala or Java, cloud deployment experience, relational-database and SQL skills, and experience with structured data formats and APIs. The positions are available in State College, Pennsylvania, or remotely.
