RESPEC is seeking an experienced Software Developer III to support a Texas state agency client on a legacy modernization initiative. The role is embedded with the agency's Division of Workers' Compensation and focuses on migrating data and applications from a Natural/ADABAS environment to modern Oracle infrastructure within an Agile Scrum team. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, data migration, Natural/ADABAS and Oracle development, database views for Tableau, software support and upgrades, collaboration with technical stakeholders, sprint estimation, documentation, and stakeholder presentations. The position is on-site in Austin, Texas, five days per week, with occasional production cutovers and contractor-provided laptop and travel requirements.
