Verily is hiring a Developer Platform Engineer to own and implement significant cloud-native developer infrastructure capabilities for its software development lifecycle. The role involves designing and developing capabilities using open-source technologies such as Kubernetes, VSCode, Backstage, Terraform, and GitHub Actions, while collaborating with engineers and maintaining production-quality code, monitoring, releases, and CI. The position requires a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, cloud and developer-platform experience, and strong systems and debugging skills; it is based in Canada and offers CAD 120,500–136,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, with no visa or work-permit sponsorship.
