Friday is hiring a full-time Java Software Developer for a consulting assignment in Northern Stockholm. The role develops and maintains a Java-based test platform for automated testing and verification of complex embedded systems, including desktop applications and graphical user interfaces. The developer will troubleshoot problems involving software, test environments, and hardware, collaborate with development and test teams, and contribute to platform and development-environment improvements. The position requires a relevant technical degree or equivalent professional experience, several years of software development experience, Java knowledge, testing and verification experience, and desktop application development experience; embedded development experience is advantageous. The assignment starts immediately, is subject to security vetting, and pays market rate.
