Description
CERN is hiring a Computing Engineer to modernise its Geodetic Metrology data management system by migrating legacy Oracle APEX/PL/SQL applications to a Java/Spring Boot and Angular platform, while redesigning a mission-critical application for the Accelerator Complex. The role covers requirements analysis, API and frontend development, automated testing, software quality, agile software development, user collaboration, and team supervision. It is a hybrid position with a 24-month contract, possible extension to 36 months, a target start date of 1 November 2026, and a monthly net stipend of 6,372 or 7,004 Swiss Francs depending on the applicant's degree.
