Dayforce is hiring a Software Engineer to build and ship features across its Java backend, MS SQL Server data layer, and React frontend. The role involves end-to-end feature delivery, unit and integration testing, code reviews, responsive and accessible UI development, SQL queries and stored procedures, CI/CD improvements, requirement refinement, troubleshooting, and on-call support. Candidates need at least two years of professional software development experience with Java and/or React, along with knowledge of object-oriented programming, APIs, data modeling, SQL, version control, and testing.
