Description
VIER is hiring a Backend Software Developer to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain backend applications, modules, and interfaces for its Cognitive Voice Gateway and related conversational AI and voice technologies. The role includes technical analysis, architecture contributions, code reviews, documentation, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Candidates need a relevant vocational qualification or degree, at least three years of software development experience, experience with unit testing, a JVM-based programming language, container technologies, and English proficiency; Kubernetes, Kotlin, VoIP, distributed systems, and microservices are preferred. The position offers a hybrid arrangement of up to three remote days per week.
