Description
Octasic is hiring a Wireless Communications Protocol Software Developer to design, develop, maintain, and evolve LTE/5G NR NodeB protocol software for search-and-rescue solutions. The role covers Layer 1 control, MAC, RLC, PDCP, RRC, and NAS; software design, testing, integration, deployment, troubleshooting, performance and reliability improvements, customer and field issue resolution, proof-of-concept development, 3GPP technology evaluation, documentation, and team mentoring. Candidates need a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, 8–10 years of LTE and/or 5G NR protocol development experience, strong C/C++ and Linux/RTOS/embedded skills, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
