7shifts is hiring an Intermediate Software Developer, Mid-Market to join its founding mid-market squad and build foundational systems for multi-location restaurant groups. The role focuses on full-cycle development of rollup reporting data structures and pipelines, a permissions and authorization system, and related backend and data work, while collaborating with product, data, and senior engineering teams. The position requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, web application and service experience, relational database and backend development knowledge, strong ownership, and experience using AI development tools. The role is based in Saskatoon or Toronto with a hybrid work arrangement and offers CAD 95,000–135,000 in base compensation.
