FERCHAU is hiring a Software Developer for its Safety Engineering Platform in Erlangen, Bavaria. The role develops and optimizes engineering and service tools for safety instrumented systems, creates and reviews requirements and designs, and implements software in C++ and Python. Responsibilities include code reviews, unit and component testing, agile development, version control, and compliance with technical instructions. The position requires a degree in computer science or automation engineering, several years of relevant experience, strong C++ and Python skills, experience with Qt, Linux, agile tools, and good English; German at B2+ is also required.
