Description
The Software Engineer will develop features for Genetec’s Edge OS connected-device management platform, including device lifecycle management, application deployment, and field observability. The role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing software; applying automated testing; estimating work; collaborating with technical leads, architects, and other developers; and working with international stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer or software field or equivalent experience, strong object-oriented programming knowledge, and fluency in French and English are required; knowledge of C#/.NET, Go, Rust, Linux, IoT, messaging protocols, containerization, web development, and cloud CI/CD is advantageous.
