SMA Solar Technology AG is hiring a Software Development Engineer – AI Expert to develop and scale AI solutions across the software development lifecycle. The role covers AI strategy, agent systems, RAG applications, reusable AI platforms, integration of AI tools across architecture, development, testing, quality assurance, and documentation, and governance of secure and responsible AI use. Candidates should have a relevant degree, several years of AI, machine learning, and generative AI experience, knowledge of large language models and AI frameworks, software development and DevOps expertise, and strong German and English proficiency.
