Description
Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer II to build foundational systems and consumer-facing features for trustworthy, privacy-first AI experiences across Alexa, Echo, and other ambient computing products. The role focuses on federated learning, differential privacy, privacy-preserving data pipelines, consent management, explainable AI interfaces, transparency controls, privacy dashboards, cross-device identity, on-device and cloud processing trade-offs, AI safety, multimodal systems, and low-latency evaluation. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, programming experience, and preferably full software development life cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
