Description
Amazon is hiring a Software Development Engineer to help build and shape the Human in the Loop (HITL) platform that brings human judgment into AI-handled customer service conversations. The role owns major HITL components from design through production launch and operation, helps decouple HITL into a standalone platform, makes architectural decisions on latency and reliability, partners with applied scientists to productionize machine learning and generative AI components, and contributes to operational excellence, code review, mentoring, and technical planning. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, two years of large-scale distributed software development, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and experience with at least one programming language.
