Amazon is hiring a software engineer to own software across the full lifecycle, from architecture and design through deployment and release. The role focuses on designing and developing scalable, high-performance and reliable software for Amazon Flex and Last Mile delivery systems, solving complex retail challenges, participating in code reviews, collaborating with product and engineering management, and delivering quality results in a fast-paced environment. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; full software development lifecycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
