Description
Amazon LEO is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain flight software for star tracker systems controlling and monitoring Low Earth Orbit satellites. The role covers real-time device control, Linux integration, fault-tolerant and redundant software, autonomous recovery, hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testing, OTA updates, and collaboration with hardware, communications, manufacturing, and operations teams. Candidates need at least three years of embedded software development experience, C or C++ expertise, Linux and cross-compilation experience, and Python test-automation experience; the position is based in Northridge, California, or Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $143,700 to $194,400 annually.
