Description
The Software Development Engineer will work on the Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink, improving the Apache Flink stream processing engine, contributing upstream changes to open source, and building scalable, reliable cloud services. The role involves software development, system design, reliability and scaling, on-call support, and collaboration with product and development management. It requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; experience with Apache Flink, Spark, Storm, or Hadoop is preferred. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of 143,700 to 194,400 USD annually.
