Description
The Software Development Engineer will join Amazon's Automated Inventory Management (AIM-RoW) team to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain large-scale, distributed, real-time supply-chain systems. The role focuses on inventory planning for millions of items, PB-scale big-data processing, AWS solutions, Java and Scala development, NoSQL databases, data modeling, requirements analysis, technical design, documentation, and collaboration with senior and principal engineers. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language; full software development life-cycle experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent are preferred.
